JOINING Requirements

All new members of Kappa Delta Phi are required to complete a period of educational probation. During this time they are taught about the values, history, and mission of the Fraternity; chapter operations; and the fraternity’s expectations of them as members.

Benefits of Membership

One of the most common questions parents ask is what their son gets out of Fraternity membership. In addition to the support of a close knit group of fellow students and access to a network of professional contacts across a wide range of fields, members of Kappa Delta Phi:

  • Have a higher graduation rate than their peers.

  • Report a higher level of satisfaction with their collegiate experience.

  • Are more likely to be involved in other campus organizations.

  • Receive unique opportunities for personal and professional development.

Hazing

Kappa Delta Phi maintains a strict ‘no hazing policy’. Chapter Leaders are provided training by headquarters staff on an annual basis as part of our annual Leadership Workshop, and all members are required to review our Comprehensive Risk Management Policy at the start of each semester.
